Soothe and Repair Your Adrenal Function
Fatigue and stress are becoming common household names because more and more people are feeling their effects. When you're constantly stressed out, your adrenal glands are literally exhausted. Instead of supplying balanced hormones - your stress hormones (including cortisol), are completely out of whack, throwing your body into 'emergency' mode, storing fat instead of burning it.
Adrenal fatigue can leave you feeling exhausted and depleted, contributes to poor sleep quality and headaches, as well as, inhibits weight loss.
If you are feeling this way, that's okay; I have a solution for you to get back on track and soothe your stressed out adrenals - My Metabolism Adrenal Repair Bundle. This bundle helps to soothe and repair your adrenal function. Easing the burden on your exhausted adrenal glands and coaxing your body back to homeostasis.
This special bundle includes my Metabolism Stress Blend, Metabolism Energy, and my Metabolism Multi. Let's dive deeper into the science behind this restorative bundle.
The Science of Stress
Typically, most of the energy you expend during times of stress are from emotional, to financial, to relationships, to work, what's worse is in trying to resolve that stressful situation. But what if you can’t? The fact of the matter is that many stressful situations are unresolvable, so instead of trying to end the stress, we need to figure out how to adapt to it and thrive in spite of it. They say stress can make you stronger. Possibly, as long as you either get a break from it or support yourself through it.
Here are some of my top tips:
-
Read this article I wrote. Taking Care of Yourself During Times of Stress
- Support the adrenal glands, which regulate stress hormones, by eating healthy, nutrient-dense carbs, and fruit.

- Always eat within 30 minutes of waking.
- Eat every two to four hours.

Could you have a GABA deficiency?
- You have difficulty achieving deep sleep.
- You’re filled with dread and have a knot in your stomach for no obvious reason.
- You’re frequently late because you’re too disorganized to get going in time.
- You’re often doing many things at once, but at the end of the day have little to show for your efforts.
- Even when things are going well, you find new things to worry about.
- You can’t relax, and racing thoughts keep you up at night.
- Sometimes your heart pounds or beats erratically for no reason.
- You rely on high carbohydrate foods, drugs, or alcohol to relax.
The Science of Energy
The number one complaint I hear amongst my clients in consultations (in addition to difficulty losing weight), is a lack of energy. We all know how hectic life can get, especially when you have kids and a full-time job. You might be getting little sleep. You might be riding the roller coaster of caffeine. Stress alone could even be wearing you out. And exhaustion—and corresponding lack of energy—can prevent you from losing weight easily.
You might think that you just have to ‘tough it out’ when you feel exhausted. But science can help!
Energy and Nitric Oxide
Recently, there’s been Nobel Prize-winning research on nitric oxide. No, that’s not the stuff from the Fast and the Furious movies! The compound is neither vitamin nor mineral, but rather a naturally occurring biological gas that is produced inside the body to help carry out a number of functions. Nitric oxide behaves as a messenger that signals a variety of responses at the cellular level. These signals are beneficial to circulatory, immune, and nervous system functions.
Exercise and weight lifting is the most common way to increase nitric oxide in the body. Aerobic activity makes your muscles require more oxygen. When you’re hitting the pavement, your heart starts pumping out blood and your arteries release nitric oxide into the bloodstream to help transport that oxygen throughout the body by widening the vessel walls. Another way to increase nitric oxide is with L-arginine and L-citrulline. These are two amino acids that the body needs to create nitric oxide and are found in my Metabolism Energy.
Metabolism Energy is not your typical energy drink, full of stimulants and caffeine. I’ve used Nobel prize-winning research around the body’s production and use of nitric oxide to create this formula.
When I start my busy day, I mix up a dose of my favorite potion: Metabolism Energy. This citrusy, refreshing powder offers therapeutic levels of L-arginine and L-citrulline. The extra blood flow helps to remove waste products more efficiently out of the body. This helps spark the metabolism. As nutrients are delivered quickly to your muscle tissues, you can exercise harder and longer without muscle fatigue. And don’t forget, muscle consumes fat! And here’s an added benefit: Adequate blood flow means a happier libido and sex life. Not bad for one scoop, twice a day!
Level the Playing Field
I included Metabolism Multi in this bundle for strategic reasons. My multi is a part of my everyday health regimen. I use it personally and with my clients in my clinic. I believe in the power of taking a high-quality multivitamin. It helps to ensure you’re flooding your body with vital nutrients regardless of what might “fall” into your mouth. It's the bare minimum of what you can do to improve your health.
Remember, not all multivitamins are created equal, that is for sure! The raw ingredients below are far more expensive and superior than in other forms. Being in the supplement world for over two decades these are always dead giveaways as to whether the multi-vitamin you are considering is worth taking or not. So if you are looking for multi-vitamin, make sure that:
The B vitamins are methylated
The Folic Acid is in an MTHF form
The minerals are in an amino acid chelated form
The Vitamin D should be in a cholecalciferol form
The Vitamin A should be at least 50% beta-carotene
I get asked all the time, “If you eat so healthy, why do you take a multi-vitamin?” Here are my top 10 reasons why I take Metabolism Multi every day and why you should too.
