Chocolate Mug Cake
This mug cake recipe is so simple to make and is an amazing treat on Phase 2. Rich in protein and deliciously chocolatey, this recipe is bound to become one of your favorite snack on The Fast Metabolism Diet.
Phase 2 | Serves 1
Prep Time: 1 minute | Total Time: 2 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1 egg white
1 1/2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
1 1/2 tablespoons birch xylitol
4 drops of vanilla
dash of sea salt (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Add the egg white to mug and whip really well, add in the cacao, xylitol, and vanilla.
MICROWAVE for 45 to 60 seconds on 50% power.
Top with a dash of sea salt (optional).
Note: Mixing all the ingredients in a blender bottle then pouring into a mug works well too. You can also bake this in your oven – 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Enjoy!
