Chocolate-Dipped Salad Bar
Are you a chocolate-lover like me? This is a super simple recipe that your entire family will absolutely love! Use fresh fruits, like pineapple, whole strawberries and peach slices to make a delicious Phase 3 snack. You can even add in some delish veggies, like radishes and jicama, if you're feeling feeling like adding a little extra pop to your veggies.
Phase 3 | Serves 6
Prep time: 5 minutes | Total time: 1 hour
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/3 cup raw cacao powder
12 chunks of assorted Phase 3 fruits or vegetables
In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil over low heat. Stir in the cacao powder.
Line a tray that will fit into your freezer with parchment paper. Spear each of your fruit and vegetable chunks with a cake pop stick. Dip them into the chocolate to coat and put them on the parchment paper. Freeze until the chocolate is firm, 20 to 30 minutes.
