Cooked Pears
The D-Burn is one of my favorite ways to break through historical plateaus. If you've lost weight many times i your life and you always get stuck in the same spot, then try becoming a D-Burner to finally blaze a trail right past that stubborn number on the scale. These delish pears will make snacking so much easier. Add in Metabolism Sweet or your favorite spice, like cinnamon or nutmeg to make this treat tickle your tastebuds with even more sweetness. Remember, pleasure stimulates your metabolism and will help that scale start moving again!
D Burn | Makes 1 serving
Prep time: 10 minutes | Total time: 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1 pear (cut into chunks )
1 tablespoon of spring water or 1 tablespoon of peppermint tea
Optional: Metabolism Sweet, Raw Cacao Powder, Chili Powder, Cinnamon, nutmeg
Directions
- Place pears in a saucepan,
- Add water or tea
- Cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- For a sweet taste add in our Metabolism Sweet ( katelyn hyper link)
- For a more savory taster dust with raw cacao, cinnamon or chili powder
This recipe can also be cooked in a slow cooker or crock pot. To do so add all ingredient to crock pot and cook on low for 1 hour or until soft.
