Ham and White Bean Soup
Here is the perfect soup for a cold winter day. Use that leftover ham bone from your holiday dinner to add so much delicious flavor to this amazing metabolism-boosting soup!

Prep time: 10 minutes | Total time: 4-8 hours
1 leftover hambone
2 cups leftover diced ham
2 (15-ounce cans white beans, drained and rinsed
3 carrots, diced
3 stalks celery, diced
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons tamari
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
6 cups water
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Combine all ingredients (except parsley) in a slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours.
- Remove the hambone, stir in the parsley, and serve.
- Serve with a small salad.
