Cucumber, Apple, Nutmeg Smoothie

This works as a snack for Phase 1, but add leftover brown rice, oatmeal or quinoa to make it a breakfast.Serves 1


  • 1 cup water
  • A few cubes of ice
  • Big handful of spinach, stems removed
  • 1 small cucumber, peeled and cut in big chunks
  • 1 apple, cored (no need to peel)
  • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 of a lime, peeled


If your apple isn’t very sweet, you can add a little stevia to taste. You could also swap the nutmeg for 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, or 1 Tbls. freshly grated ginger.
