Cucumber, Apple, Nutmeg Smoothie
This works as a snack for Phase 1, but add leftover brown rice, oatmeal or quinoa to make it a breakfast.Serves 1
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- A few cubes of ice
- Big handful of spinach, stems removed
- 1 small cucumber, peeled and cut in big chunks
- 1 apple, cored (no need to peel)
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 of a lime, peeled
Directions
If your apple isn’t very sweet, you can add a little stevia to taste. You could also swap the nutmeg for 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, or 1 Tbls. freshly grated ginger.
