FMD Phases 1 and 3
Makes 8 pancakes
4 large egg whites
1 cup Fast Metabolism Baking Mix
Whip egg whites to form soft peaks; 2 to 3 min. Gently fold in Baking Mix. In a hot nonstick skillet, drop a scant ¼ cup of batter; smooth out, forming 3-inch pancakes. Cook until small bubbles appear and underside of pancake is lightly golden. Flip and cook for a minute.
Portion: 4 pancakes is a Phase 1 grain; 2 pancake is a Phase 3 grain.
P1 Add-ins: Add 1/2 cup fresh berries to the batter.
P3 Add-ins: Add 1/2 cup chopped raw nuts and/or berries.
