Smoked Salmon & Cucumber

The magic of Phase 2 is that it combines high protein with a huge amount of green vegetables, and green veggies, like cucumber, are alkalizing! Make sure you eat your cucumbers unpeeled to maximize on their nutrient and fiber content.

Ingredients

1 cucumber
6 ounces smoked salmon, nitrate-free, no sugar added
¼ teaspoon lime juice (optional)
Pinch of fresh dill weed (optional)

Directions

  1. Slice the cucumber into rounds, approximately ½ inch thick. Slice the salmon into 1-inch pieces. Put the salmon pieces on the cucumber rounds. Drizzle with lime juice or season with dill weed, if using.

TIP: Feel free to use extra cucumber with the hearty amount of salmon. Remember, veggies are unlimited!
