VLOG: Substitutions for The Burn Teas, Smoothies & Soup Recipes
Are you getting ready to do The Burn and you need to, want to or have to change some of the ingredients? I tell you how to do it in this video.
If there is an ingredient in the soups, teas, smoothies or recipes for any of The Burn plans that you can not use because of either preference, allergy for medical reasons, simply leave that ingredient out and add an additional food, therapy or health practice success booster to your day. You can also add an ingredient off of the food list from the same food group as the ingredient that you are choosing to omit.

When my clients just can’t seem to lose weight, there’s always a reason. ALWAYS. The trick is finding the WHY and pushing through that blockade. In my clinics, I’ve found there are three most-likely causes for weight-loss plateaus: Inflammation, digestive issues and hormonal imbalances.
I’ve developed the 3-day I-Burn for those with inflammation issues; the 5-day D-Burn is for those with digestive trouble, and the 10-day H-Burn is designed for those with hormonal imbalances.
So just like The Fast Metabolism Diet, I developed The Burn based on what my own clients are experiencing, and how I use targeted nutrition to get them back on track, their metabolisms humming, and that scale to keep moving in the right direction.

How I use The Burn in my clinics
There are four main situations where I’ll decide my client needs The Burn.
- We choose the I-Burn, D-Burn or H-Burn based on their symptoms. After completing their Burn plan, my client returns to the Fast Metabolism lifestyle if they’ve met their goal weight.
- My client does the Burn plan that addresses why they are stuck, based on their symptoms, in order to break through a weight-loss plateau. Then they go back on the Fast Metabolism Diet to continue healing their metabolism and lose weight.
- They are REALLY stuck and need intense repair for inflammation, digestion, or hormonal issues. In this case, they repeat their Burn plan three times in a row for focused repair. Then, if they need to lose more weight, they transition back to the Fast Metabolism Diet.
- My client has a history of health and weight-loss issues, and have symptoms indicating all three Burn plans I’ll have them work through all three plans – the I-Burn, D-Burn, and H-Burn. We’ll repeat that cycle several times, rotating between intense repair of all three systems. I’ll keep them on this cycle as long as they continue to lose weight.
