Ingredients
1 cup chickpeas, drained and rinsed
For Cinnamon Chickpeas
2 teaspoons xylitol
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
For Curry Chickpeas
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
For Red Hot Chili Chickpeas
1/2 teaspoon paprika (regular or smoked)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl, add all the seasonings for whichever flavor you want to make. Add the chickpeas and toss to coat.
- Put the chickpeas on the prepared baking sheet, spreading them out evenly. Bake, stirring occasionally, for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the chickpeas are crispy. Store the chickpeas in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
