3 Ways to Enjoy Delicious Desserts and Treats!
Confession! I LOVE food! Sweet, salty, spicy, creamy, and tart. I believe that the pleasure of enjoying all kinds of flavors actually enhances your metabolism. That's why I am always creating delicious desserts and decadent treats that not only taste great but when used strategically can increase the burn. So here's how you can enjoy your desserts three ways:
1. Eat the dessert as a snack - as long as the treat includes the right phase-specific foods. It would look like this:
Phase 1 - Eat any dessert that contains fruit, like this refreshing Strawberry Sorbet.
Phase 2 - Eat any dessert that contains protein, like my Mint-Chip Meringues.
Phase 3 - Eat any dessert that contains healthy fats, like this Chocolate Chia Pudding.
2. Eat one metabolism enhancing dessert with a meal - as long as it contains the phase-specific food groups for that meal.
Phase 1 - Enjoy a dessert, like these Pumpkin Muffins.
Phase 2 - Enjoy a dessert, like my Chocolate Mug Cake.
